"Top Class: The Rise to P-Pop Stardom" - set to become the Philippines' Premiere P-Pop reality show competition - will be having the one and only 2018 Miss Universe Catriona Gray as its main host. Catriona has signed her contract with Top Class at a ceremony held in Cornerstone Entertainment's studio during the afternoon of March 9, 2022. Present in the ceremony are Kumu Chief Commercial Officer Luis Paolo Pineda, Cornerstone Entertainment President Erickson Raymundo and Vice President Jeffrey Vadillo. Filipino-Norwegian actor and DJ Markki Stroem hosted the event.
It has also been announced that auditions for Top Class will begin on March 20. More details will be announced in the coming days on the social media pages of Kumu, Cornerstone Entertainment, and Cignal.
Cornerstone Entertainment's Vice President, Jeff Vadillo shared in an earlier interview that "We believe Catriona is the perfect host for our show. We all know her strength and determination in reaching her goals. She also knows the value of preparation and excellence specially in making a mark in the world stage. Not only will she be able to weave the show together but she will also be able to impart important life lessons to the students and to all our viewers."
