Last year, KZ Tandingan took a break from local television to participate in “Singer 2018”, a reality singing competition in China where she was put up against singers from all around the globe. Few of the many were Jessie J, Angela Chang, and James Li.
Throughout her journey in the competition, the Two Less Lonely People in the World singer marked her spot on the Chinese stage. Chinese audiences were faced with Filipino talent through her renditions of Rolling in the Deep, Say Something, Royals, and many more. However, her performance of「你不知道的痛」, or The Pain Which You Don't Know— a Mandarin medley which she had to learn in two weeks—was arguably the most striking of all her acts as many were brought to tears.
Since her exit from the show, another exciting opportunity is in KZ’s path as she brings her Supreme: World Tour to the capital of the world. The Mahal Ko O Mahal Ako singer is holding a month-long concert in US and Canada.
From China to the Big Apple, KZ Tandingan summits to the international stage.
