DEDICATION: John Prats braves through flood just to get to ‘It’s Showtime’

July 25, 2021

MANILA ⸺ New “It’s Showtime” director, John Prats, exemplifies true dedication as he rides a dump truck and charge through heavy floods just to get in time for the noontime program, Saturday, July 24, 2021.

In a video that trended last Saturday shared by John Prats on his Instagram account, he is seen addressing the “Madlang Pipol” (a moniker for the audiences and fans of “It’s Showtime”), and sharing with them the lengths he is willing to go through for them and the show. The 37-year-old director rode a dump truck just to report to work, expressing that it was the only resource available at that time, which can lunge through the heavy flooding in their area.

Prats expressed that it was also that day when they will be launching the new segment of the show called “Madlang Pi-Poll”.

Hello madlang pipol!!! Eto po ang transpo ko papuntang ABS-CBN. Napaka importante kasi ng araw na to. Dahil mamaya na ang MADLANG PI-POLL, Para sa inyo gagawin namin ang lahat! In the service of the filipino people! Forever kapamilya,” he explained in a post. He also thanked his father for lending him the said dump truck.

Earlier this month, both “It’s Showtime” fans and hosts also celebrated with Prats for an exciting sprucing up of the show’s stage.
